What is It
Classic Status Monitor is a Free low impact status monitor for
Midnite solar 's, Classic 150, 200, 250 Charge Controller.
It is a Read Only Program, It dose not write to the Classic.
Classic
Status Monitor 3 was developed out of the need for a program that could
be run from any Location on most any windows computer using very little
network or computer Recourses.
The Software Is Provided "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, Express Or Implied
Classic Status Monitor was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 2005
What It is NOT
Classic Status Monitor or Classic Status Monitor 3 are NOT A Product of Midnite solar.
Nor do they support "Classic Status Monitor" in any way !
What Is required
Windows operating system XP, Vista, Windows 7 or win 8
Net framework 2.0 or 3.5
Note : For Windows 8
.NET Framework 3.5 is not automatically installed with Windows 8.
To run applications that require the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8,
you must enable version 3.5 on your computer.
What and How
You can monitor your Classic, using local network or across internet up to three Classic 's, selective fields include : Volts in, Watts, Amps, Kwh for day, Ah for day, charge status, AUX 1and 2 on or off, Battery Temp, and combined total watts if monitoring more than one Classic.
Also Includes stand-a-lone Program "Modbus-TCP Test Reader" for reading Classic register Values.
It has a Setting for updating Data every 0.5, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes. and a Setting for Connection Time Out, Time in seconds.
The Connection Time Out keeps the program from waiting for Data from no longer valid Ip address or port, or Classic that is not available for any reason. With slow network Connection timeout time may need to be increased.
Errors are indecated by yellow rather than blue Icon on offending Clasic and a Explanation at the bottom of the Program. See below ...
